Retail partner requirements

Choosing to stock Tempo Homes has many benefits, and only a few requirements that we ask of each retail partner.

Retail partners must stock one Tempo Home on the retail lot (any size)

Retail partners must enforce 2-day shipping for all purchases, no exceptions

Retail partner onboarding

The first tour of Tempo Homes is all yours. When you become a Clayton Tempo Homes retailer, we’ll introduce you to the product line step by step. Here’s what to expect.

We’ll meet with your owner, all principles, and employees.

We’ll introduce Tempo Homes, POP materials, and give you a complete tour of the Tempo website and how to use it, including quote request demonstrations.

You’ll complete our VIP agreement and application. We’ll discuss important information before you order your first home, including:

Expectations (yours and ours) for service and payment

How to complete a proper home check-in

Scheduling your home building facility tour

Once you receive notification from us that your first stock home is ready to ship, we will perform a confirmation walk-through before the home ships to you, to make sure it is as-ordered.

Once your first stock home ships, you’ll schedule a meeting with our Retail Stores service tech, plus whoever on your team is assigned with checking in homes. Together, you and our team members will walk through the home to discuss repair expectations and responsibilities (ours and yours).
